Gaming is awesome! Gaming has evolved into far more than just a pastime for some and is now enjoyed by millions of kids and adults worldwide. It allows us to nurture social connections, amplify learning and skill development, engage in healthy competition, & have a lot of fun!
However, because gaming is so fun, immersive, & complex it can potentially impact your life negatively. Due to gaming’s addictive nature, most gamers like you spend too much time gaming and not enough time leveling up other areas of their life, including school, physical & mental wellbeing, responsibilities at home, and social life.
The American Academy of Pediatrics suggests time allotted should be under 30 to 60 minutes per day on school days and 2 hours or less on non-school days.
