eSports events in 2020 – Top 3 in the world

eSports are huge in 2020 and there are numerous events you may want to attend this year. They are a whole lot of fun, and you get to have access to some incredible moments and fun gameplay. That brings the question, what kind of events should you attend since there are so many this year? Here you can find some amazing experiences for you to check and enjoy.

League of Legends World Championship

The League of Legends World Championship is, as always, sponsored by the developer Riot Games and it will happen in China most likely, as it usually does. It’s expected that the tournament will have 24 teams from 14 different countries. We can also expect qualification rounds happening a few weeks before the tournament itself. This event usually happens during the fall season, so we can expect it to be in October as usual, although schedule changes can sometimes appear as you might imagine.

Since the game continues to have a huge player base, we can expect more and more people to join the League of Legends World Championship as they try a shot to the amazing million dollar prizes. This year’s prize is expected to be over $2 million, so the race is on!

Overwatch World Cup

Since the Overwatch World Cup 2019 took place in Anaheim, we expect it to be the same venue this year as well. That being said, there’s no announced date for the event itself. Although the rumors are suggesting that the prize pool will be over $1 million, that has not been confirmed yet. What we do know is that there will still be 10 countries competing, 2 groups of 5 and then one country will be eliminated one by one. It’s an interesting concept that has impressed people from all over the world.

PUBG Global Championship 2020

The 2019 version of this tournament was a success and the 2020 version is set to have more than $1 million in prizes too. On top of that, the location last year was Oakland, we don’t know for sure if this one the location will be pretty much the same or not. We can expect dozens of teams to be present at the local PUBG tournaments and then they will qualify to the massive PUBG Global Championship 2020.

It’s very important to follow these amazing events if you are a fan of the game. They are incredible, fun events for those that want to see these multiplayer games played at a very high level.
